Human Creativity Unleashed

Thought,
Unfolding.

Big ideas don't start big — they start as a single spark that branches and compounds, the way neurons fire, until small thoughts add up to something enormous.

ideore is that unfolding. Take one idea at a time, divide and conquer, and watch a humble seed grow into a novel, a system, a world. Free, local-first, and private.

How It Works

Use your mind's natural associative power to explore thoughts with infinite depth.

1
1

Root Idea

Define your core concept in the central box.

2
2

Support

Add nodes for supporting thoughts around it.

3
3

Expand

Click expand to dive into any node as a new grid.

4
4

Navigate

Move seamlessly through layers of complexity.

5
5

Connect

Create non-linear [[links]] between any two ideas.

Start from a proven blueprint

Rich, multi-level examples — not empty outlines. Open any template and dive into sub-canvases that are already cross-linked, so you see the fractal in action.

Start Now

A clean slate. Ideal for pure, manual idea mapping and architects who want to build from the ground up.

D&D Campaign Planner

Build your fantasy world. Outline your main quest, design locations, track factions, and flesh out key NPCs in a connected, expandable format.

Novel Writing

Build a living world. Fractally expand plot points, characters, and locations, then connect them with wiki-links to create your own story bible.

Strategic Planning (OKRs)

Cascade your company strategy from an annual objective down to specific projects, ensuring every task aligns with the mission.

First Principles Thinking

Deconstruct a complex problem into its fundamental truths and rebuild a solution from the ground up, free from prior assumptions.

Crime Scene Investigation

Think like a detective. Pin evidence, suspects, and motives to a virtual corkboard and create a web of connections to reveal the truth.

Product Launch Plan

Coordinate a successful product launch, from market research and goal setting to go-to-market strategies.

Investment Thesis

Build a comprehensive investment thesis, from qualitative analysis to rigorous risk assessment.

Game Design Doc

Outline your game concept, from the core gameplay loop and narrative arcs to technical requirements.

YouTube Video Plan

Plan your next video from concept to promotion, including scripting hooks, visuals, and SEO strategy.

Academic Thesis Outline

Structure your academic thesis with dedicated chapters for introduction, literature review, and methodology.

Negotiation Prep

Prepare for any high-stakes negotiation by defining your goals, your BATNA, and your concession strategy.

Essay Writing

Structure a persuasive essay from hook to closing statement. Outline each section, then draft with evidence and analysis that trace back to your thesis.

Screenplay & Film

Take a story from logline to scene cards. Break the three-act structure, flesh out characters, and plan a shootable beat sheet in a connected story bible.

System Design

Design production systems like a staff engineer. Cascade from requirements to architecture, data model, and the explicit tradeoffs behind every choice.

Research Paper

Run a full research project: sharpen your question, build a tagged source library, synthesize themes, and draft with a citation map.

Content Pipeline

Ship a podcast or newsletter on autopilot. Manage the idea bank, editorial calendar, production checklist, and growth loop in one connected system.

Thought, Unfolding

The philosophy behind the fractal canvas.

Organic Growth

Big ideas start as a single spark. Like neurons firing, one thought branches into the next until small steps add up to something enormous.

Fractal Pathways

Dive deeper into any thought — divide and conquer, one idea at a time. Each expansion reveals new realms of potential.

Mirroring the Mind

Built for how the mind actually works. Free yourself from rigid outlines and let a humble seed unfold into a novel, a system, a world.

A Canvas for Every Mind

Join thinkers structuring the future.

I used to keep my novel's lore across six documents and a spreadsheet. Now the world lives in one fractal map — a character's fear links straight to the scene that caused it, two levels down.

Novelist

The difference from every other mind-map tool is depth. When a branch of my research gets big, I dive into it instead of watching the canvas turn into spaghetti.

For case work, the wiki-links are the killer feature. Every fact, witness, and exhibit is one click from every other — and it all stays on my own device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the fractal revolution.

What is ideore and what makes it different?

Unlike traditional mind maps that get cluttered as they grow, ideore uses a fractal structure. You can dive 'into' any node to find a whole new canvas, allowing you to manage massive complexity without visual overwhelm. It's the difference between a flat drawing and a structured architecture.

How is ideore different from Notion, Obsidian, or a regular mind-map tool?

Mind maps stay flat and get messy; Notion and Obsidian are document trees you have to keep filing. ideore combines the two: spatial, visual thinking with infinite depth, plus wiki-style [[links]] that connect any idea to any other — regardless of where it sits in the hierarchy.

What is "fractal mind mapping"?

It's a way of organizing information where every idea can become the center of its own universe. Think of it like folders in a computer, but visual, spatial, and infinitely expandable. As you dive deeper, the context remains anchored to the parent node, preserving your mental model.

How do I connect ideas that are in different grids?

By using [[wiki-links]]. Simply wrap an idea's title in double brackets. ideore will automatically search your entire knowledge base and create a bi-directional link, allowing you to jump between related concepts regardless of where they sit in the physical hierarchy.

Where is my data stored? Is it secure?

Your data is stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB. We never send your thoughts to our servers. Your privacy is absolute; your ideas stay on your device unless you explicitly choose to export them. We believe your thoughts are your own sovereign property.

How do I save and back up my work?

ideore autosaves every change locally. For long-term backup and multi-device use, use the 'Export' feature in the header to download a .mxf file. This file contains your entire project structure and can be re-imported on any device at any time.
